VENTURI NOZZLE

Venturi nozzles are particularly suitable for high pressure steam. The shape resistance is much lower than that of a nozzle or orifice plate. Resulting in much lower pressure loss and therefore higher efficiency.

Compared to a nozzle a venturi nozzles will pay back itself quite soon by better efficiency. Mechanically the structure is very strong.

Venturi nozzle suits well to be used in main steam measuring where the flow velocity is high and the loss of pressure is of great importance. A venturi nozzle has a long life span and it maintains it's accuracy very well.

Materials are stainless steel and heat resisting steels.

In most cases connection to the process is by welding.

A Venturi nozzle can be installed to the process before the blowout.
