ORIFICE PLATE

Orifice plate is an economical and accurate instrument, which suits well for all flowing media at a low rate of flow. Depending on the structure, this device can be used either in high or low pressure applications.

• PN6 - PN400
• DN40 - DN1200
• Length according to DIN 19205 or 25mm depending on structure.
• Materials vary from stainless steel to heat resisting grades.

Orifice plate has the biggest pressure loss of all flow restrictions and therefore it can not be recommended in applications where a maximum efficiency is needed. Orifice plate has a tendency of causing noise at higher fluid velocity.

Installing orifice plates in to the pipeline before blowout is not permitted.
